BIOGRAPHY

Ms. Silva, Portuguese-Brazilian-American coloratura soprano, has dazzled audiences this season with stunning debuts as soprano soloist in Mozart’s Requiem and Bach’s Magnificat with Arts District Chorale. In 2024, she shined as Adina and Gianetta in L’elisir d’amore for Teatro Grattacielo, and also has graced the stage as soprano soloist in Haydn’s Die Schöpfung (The Creation) for Mansfield Philharmonic. In 2023, she was thrilled to be a guest artist for Music Ministry Conservatory (MMC). She took on the roles of Marcellina in Le nozze di Figaro and Violetta in La traviata. Nicole's journey is nothing short of extraordinary, having showcased in 2019 her debut as Zerbinetta in Strauss's Ariadne auf Naxos for Trentino Music Festival in Italy. Other acclaimed roles include Morgana in Alcina and Servilia in La clemenza di Tito with Comet Opera in Dallas, USA. Notably, her debut in 2018 for Lyric Opera Studio Weimar in Germany as Königin der Nacht (Queen of the Night) in Die Zauberflöte (The Magic Flute) left audiences in awe. During her undergraduate studies at the University of North Texas, she was recognized as a finalist in the Texoma NATS Competition in 2012, showcasing her exceptional vocal prowess and expressive singing.

Nicole holds a Bachelor's in Voice Performance and Choral Education from the University of North Texas, and further honed her skills at the prestigious Sankt Goar International Music Festival and Academy in Germany. Beyond her vibrant singing career in opera, oratorio, and choral works, she passionately provides private vocal coachings and masterclasses for prestigious high school choral programs in North Texas, and she also is a collaborative pianist across the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
